(Hume, Erik; please forgive the non-railroad posting. I believe I will get a faster response from this broad group than I will from my stationary steam contacts.) There is a postcard on e-bay that shows a Prescott steam pumping engine on display in Chisholm, MN. (Link is below; I tried to "hijack" the picture below as well.) I have never heard of this engine before. Is it a the Museum of Mining? (The Museum of Mining does have a train on display with a steam locomotive, DM&IR 2-8-0 #347.) If not, is it still in Prescott and where? Thanks in advance. -James Hefner Hebrews 10:20a Prescott Steam Driven Water Pump, Chisholm MN ![]() james1@pernet.net |
