A nice pair of videos, showcasing a very authentic looking venue for the Leviathan. With the other equipment, track, and facilities in the works, it will get even better. I can imagine this also being a filming location, and not just for Civil War themed stuff, but anything that might be set in the general time period, such as a version of "Little Women." (Actually, part of that is in the Civil War era as well.)

Which brings to mind--those other facilities, such as an enginehouse, won't be ready for a while yet. Are you at liberty to say how you'll be keeping the equipment out of the weather until those other structures are available?

What a first class operation and a very fitting home for David Kloke's two master pieces.

In that wonderful setting countless tens of thousands will be made aware of the important role that 19th. century railroading played in the growth of the American nation.

Congratulations to the Abel family and their team for a job well done.

I echo your sentiments, Ross. I attended this event and I think this is just the beginning of what will be a very cool little time warp in the Pennsylvania woods. The folks at Stone Gables Estate clearly have a love of history and the desire and means to preserve it for future generations to enjoy.
