Need to clean some overspray off 223 glazing. Not done by me, acquired as such. What’s the best way without compromising the glazing? Estimated to be 5 year old paint on said windows.

I'd lean towards using a razor scraper at a maximum 30 degree angle with fresh blades and light pressure so as not to scratch the glass. Don't go King Kong on it.

If you know what kind of paint it is, you could try the appropriate solvent but keep all solvents away from the edge of the glass and the gasket. Use a clean cotton rag on your appropriately gloved finger in an out of the way corner to test. Wash really well when done.

There are graffiti and paint removers you might try. PPG Duraprep PREP400 is one. It's safe for polycarbonates and acrylics so it would likely be OK for laminated glass. I'd call first to find out any precautions, though.

The glass should be cool to the touch and not in direct sun when you're working on it. Don't tap, pry or put pressure on the edges of any laminated or tempered glass or you'll be replacing it in short order.
