Illinois Railway Museum has Delray Connecting S1 #66 up for sale or trade. Asking price is $15,000 or a significant trade. Interested parties should contact Nick Kallas at 815-923-4391, Ext. 16.

One question. Was DC #66 originally DONATED to IRyM or was it purchased. Thanks.

For what little it's worth, Delray 66 was donated to IRM by Midwest Steel in 1984.

JJ,

Two questions, if you know the answers, that might save a lot of bother for Mr. Kallas:

1) Is the locomotive currently operating or in operating condition?
2) Has it been converted to roller bearings or does it still have friction bearings?

Thanks!
Stephen
