Hello, I am looking into creating a 3-d model of the cagney, similar if not identical to the one at Strasburg, as a summer project. I was wondering if anyone had detailed diagrams of her, and if so, where i could acquire them.
Thanks,

While we are at it, anyone have good resources on the history of the Cagney Locomotives in general (not just the ones at SRC). I’ve seen some historic photos of them here and there but never really researched them. Interesting little guys.

As to history, Keith Taylor, who tends to watch this site, has the best handle on the history of Cagney. Its convoluted to say the least.

You might try the Chaski site as well under both Live Steam and Grand Scale sections:

I do have some drawings but wary of making copies. PM me with your request and I can see what I can do.

I've been working on a history of the Cagney Bros. for about six years now. I'd hoped to be finished by now, but life keeps getting in the way. It's been a fascinating journey through history.

Long story short, there are no "great" Cagney resources out there. The only "good" resource is Little Railways of the World, and it contains several errors (not the fault of the author).

I've managed to come up with a solid, accurate history of the Miniature Railroad Company with the help of many, many people (including Keith Taylor). I also have access to some drawings, but they are not mine to distribute.

The text of the book is around 160,000 words at this point. I really need to finish it up.

I have been privileged to preview some of Jeff’s Cagney history and I can tell you it will be the definitive volume.

I would also recommend “The Blakesley Hall Miniature Railway” by Dr. Bob Tebb, an English book about a pioneer miniature railway on a British estate. It contains a brief history of the Cagney Brothers and a line on a fabulous private estate.

Well, there is a 32 page book on the subject, mostly reprinting old advertising folios for the builder, but also containing some historical text.

It does not contain the OP's concern though - no scaled drawings of the equipment produced by the firm.
