If you follow ASR on social media, this won't be news but in the event that you have not, we at ASR are excited to announce a very special evening at the West 3rd St Roundhouse in Cleveland with the one and only Ross Rowland, Legend of Steam, on Saturday, September 21. The event will include photo ops with Ross and the 2100, rides in the yard behind an RS-3 and a catered BBQ dinner. Then Ross will take the stage and share the highlights from his more than 40 years of experience in operating mainline steam excursions all across the country with special focus on the Reading T-1s and even his past experience with our own 2100. If you ever wanted to learn about the early days the mainline steam excursion industry here in the US, this will probably the best opportunity ever to hear from the man who did so much to create the industry that so many of us are so passionate about today.
