In 2003, the Nevada Northern Railway Museum will be going to 6 day a week operation with three days being steam. In the past, 95% of our trains were operated by the volunteers. We will have to expand our staff and volunteer pool to accommadate the new schedule. To do this we will need a training program. Does any one have a training program that they could recommend or share? We have three locomotives for the 2003 season, a 2-8-0 steam locomotive, a SD-9 and a RS-3. Any and all ideas welcomed. Thanks, Mark bassett@elko.net |

Keeping it here in the Wild West, Heber Valley Railroad has a number of trainging manuals, tests, etc. (The conductors manual has just been revised and is due off the press in the next week or so.) I would strongly recommend contacting John Rimmasch at HVRR. ---doc--- Heber Valley Railroad utweyesguy@aol.com |
