RMNE is looking for one of these, EMD p/n 8417858 eccentric-type power assembly lifter for C, D and E engines. We have the individual cylinder head and cylinder liner lifter tools. Howard, wouldn't this be an easy thing to fabricate if you had access to measured drawings and a waterjet or plasma cutter? Be a useful reference to have if anyone else needs or could benefit from one... |

EMD distributed good drawings of this tool and instructions of how to manufacture one in File Drawing #232, which was a free addition to many of the MI books they issued in the 1950s. PC |
