Re: the Flimsies link on the Aspen trolleys below. Places like Issaquah, Washington and Tucson (which have only std. ga. track) want these near-three-footers, while Cripple Creek (which has only two-foot track at the moment) will get one of Tucson's standard gauge cars. Does this make sense to anybody?

I would suggest that the proposed Cripple Creek use would be to connect casinos rather than to run on Jim Birmingham's steam line. Probably some new track would be laid in the street or on another ROW. Have to get the gamblers around after they have lost their cars.

Alternatively, a static disply for some purpose? Cripple Creek has become a much more unique place in the past ten years. A lot of money runs through it like a river, but it doesn't seem to stick.

This Tucson group is undoubtedly Old Pueblo Trolley. There actually are two narrow-gauge cars at OPT - 3'6" gauge carbodies (no trucks) from Los Angeles, but they're in rough shape. For the life of me, though, I don't know what car they'd deaccess. They only have two runners, a Japanese and a Belgian car. They also own a PCC. Hmm...
