| Post subject: | Smoke Box Doors for display |
I just noticed on facebook on American Steam Locomotives on Display that a post showing a near 360 degree view of the age of steam roundhouse. In the photo is a smoke box door from a locomotive which I believe is from B&O 2-8-2 #417. Let me know if I'm wrong on that one. Also, I have this question. Do any of you know about steam locomotive smoke box doors on display in museums or in private hands that are out there? Any info on this would be great. |
