Two of the former TEE cars remain stored at North Bay, one coach and one tail end car. Both have been vandalized and are in generally poor condition. Plans for any eventual restoration or display are vague. This info from a local resident by way of a friend of a friend.

I believe these 2 cars were offered up for sale on a government auction website a few years ago. (there WERE a pair if TEE cars for auction... assuming these are the same 2). I dont know if they were sold through that auction, or if they even got any bids. I do believe they contain asbestos, so no doubt that may have scared off some potential buyers (I am sure their vandalized state at that time didnt help either!).

They're in a fenced compound a few hundred yards south of the former CPR station and right next to ex-ONR steam locomotive #503. They are in pretty sad shape...

The set is incomplete since the non driving coach got the torch. I believe what is left is the driving trailer and the kitchen car in NB Ont.

Wasn't this the remains of the set involved in the head on accident with a CNR switcher? The organization that brought the TEE cars back to Europe bought up the best of the available cars.

ONR cut up one of the coaches after the others departed for Europe.

This is also believed to be a kitchen car and is said to be owned by ONR still,

The TEE situation is a bit confusing since there is some blurred info on who owns what.
