I stumbled on a restaurant called Clarksville Station, near Roxboro, NC, that is partially comprised of two passenger cars. Does anyone have any information on these two cars?
(I included a photos of each car's truck "stamp").

The baggage car appears to be NKP:

The ex-UP car looks to be a Harriman.

Interesting that the cars are both are still sitting on trucks on tracks. The station buildings comprising part of the restaurant are former 180s wooden RR stations relocated from Woodsdale and Clarksville Virginia.

The car in the picture has a clerestory roof with air conditioning ducts added.

The term "Harriman" is often used to refer to the cars with the semi-elliptical rood design that the Harriman controlled roads bought. The roof design is made of three curves-- much like how a draftsman would have drawn half of an ellipse.

The Union Pacific did buy cars with clerestory roofs during the 1920s.

Clarksville Station is under new ownership. Original owner was busted for solicitation of a minor.
