I am happy to report that the recall election of the Board of Trustees has passed! For those of you following this adventure - this involved a large legal battle (and bill). Ultimately, the eight long term members were able to force the board to hold a legal recall election. The next step begins almost immediately - the members to chose 25 people to replace the recalled board.

The next election results will be know on December 20th. My hope is that we elect board which puts the museum first in every decision.

The final chapter will be the outcome of the State Attorney General's investigation and any court ruling as a result of the state taking action.

I hope to publish a paper on this 18 year adventure - maybe present it at a ARM and/or TRAIN convention?

Yes, there were 197 nominations - 4 were dead, two ex-President of the USA, and about 65 others sent in a letter declining nomination.

To say that the new board will have it's hands full is an understatement! However, we built this museum from dirt with zero grants and zero sugardaddy's - we can do it again!
