Folks,
I ran across a reference to the Darjeeling-Himalayan Railroad #19 at the Hessen steam Museum. She was built by Sharp, Stewart in 1889 and re-built by the Trindham Works, India in 1908. 24" gauge

If she is still there, I think she is the only Indian Railroad locomotive in the United States. At one time they had massive steam powered railroads all over the country, thanks to British industry.

Is she still around? Where?

Hi Ted,

DHR No. 19 is no longer at Hesston but is now at Adrian Shooter's private Beeches Light Railway in the UK:
