I happened to be looking in the NE Rail Picture Archive today, and saw a this picture. Can somebody spot what's wrong?

You mean other than the obvious in the forground?

If the caption is correct and the locomotive is shoving the cars through the crossing, shouldn't the headlight be on, even if there are cars in front of the lcomotive? Probably not, but then again, besides the obvious, I can't find anything else wrong.

One of the red lights on the gate is not working.

Usually on gates with three lamps, the lamp on the end or tip of the gate is on steady and the other two flash altranatly. So its a possibility that when the exposure was made one of the lamps was normally out. Nothing wrong there.

Try the automobile between the gate and the track, and the gate lowered to the trunk lid....

Yes. It has nothing to do with railroad preservation. ;-)

Yeah, the idiot who did the graffitti on the gate should have used paint instead of magic marker, the one who did the lumber car should have done his graffitti on the outside of the car where it would be seen when the car was loaded. Geez, looks like a $10,000 damage claim to the trunk of that rice burner! It's the railroad's fault that the gate went down on it!

The gate across the trunk lid changes dimensions about halfway down its length.

The number of the radio station on the radios display is not the station the driver is listening to?
