Don't shoot me, I'm just the messenger (well, the newspaper is, really):

Quote:
Catering to more than 150,000 guests annually and with a payroll of 300 people, the Royal Gorge Route Railroad is anxious to get going full steam ahead after having suspended operations in mid-March because of the global coronavirus pandemic.

The train tentatively is slated to reopen May 23 with three departures per day.

In the meantime, the Happy Endings Caboose Cafe will open for its second season from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily beginning Saturday for coffee, breakfast and lunch.

Once opened again, social distancing won’t be a problem. With a total of 17 cars comprising the train, there is room for 300 guests to have more than six feet of personal space, and staff will be trained on proper guidelines and protocols for their own safety and that of the guests.

Rather than start another thread I’ll post here...

Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railway will not operate until September of 2020 per their social media.
