Can someone tell me if the Santa Fe roundhouse
and tie treating plant are still standing? I think the
plant shut down in the late 70's.
May have been declared a "Super Site" by EPA.

The remaining portion of the AQ roundhouse was razed in the late-1980s (I remember reporting on it in L&RP). Not sure about the tie-treating plant. The AQ backshop buildings, and I believe the transfer table are to become some sort of international festival marketplace that is supposed to include some trains. I think the 2926 4-8-4 will eventually end up there. The only remaining AT&SF roundhouse is in Las Vegas, NM, used as storage.
