The IRM fared pretty well, not much more than a lot of small branches down. We did miss a bullet, as an EF-1 tornado spawned by the Derecho was headed for Union when it dissipated. We were closed that day. One home damaged some sheds over and many trees downed by that tornado. The very broad nature of this thing with some embedded 100+ MPH winds did a job across several States, especially Iowa.

I did hear on the news this morning, Iowa lost 1/3 of their corn crop, over 3,000,000 acres destroyed, and "every square inch" of Cedar Rapids sustained damage of some sort.
