There is 48 minutes worth of the Geldersche Steam Tramway in the Netherlands - some in colour - on this interesting film from the late 1940's/1950's.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O2l8g0vcUvI&t=5s The steam operation closed in 1957. It also deals with the replacement bus services that were introduced and gives a view of the day to day operation of the company. They even built their own coachwork on imported bus chassis! |
