Hello. I just watched the video daylight express about the 91 daylight. I am obsessed with the consist but can't find anything about it Can someone pls tell me all the names of these beautiful passenger cars? |

By the 91 daylight I mean the railfair pulled by 4449 in 1991 |

I think I remember reading it was a whole mixed bag of cars from different owners and organizations. |

The cars I mainly am looking for are the last 4 cars of the train other than 2955 and 2202 |

I think there was a complete listing of the consist in the Railfan & Railroad article that covered the New Orleans trip shortly after it ran. I don't have access to my copy now but will try to look it up next week. I believe that the observation was named "Appunky Mountain" or such, whatever the correct spelling is. |

Just to clarify, the Appekunny Mountain, ex-GN observation car #1290, was used on the World's Fair Daylight in 1984 but not on the 1991 version. (As of 2018 it was owned by the California Northern railroad.) http://www.rrpicturearchives.net/showPi ... id=5139714 |

I scanned the listing of the 1984 consist and it's attached, albeit in a highly reduced version to be uploaded (If you want a high-quality scan, please PM me. ) Since the cars were arranged with trainlined water lines and propane tanks all on one side, it's likely that the 1991 train was set up similarly.
