Post subject:  Christmas Cab Rides

As I've had several PM's on this I thought it appropriate to make this posting.

It has become a kind of Christmas tradition for a number of RyPN members to book a cab ride on NH&I # 40 in December when I'm the hogger and I've much enjoyed meeting many of you through that in person.

We have reopened our passenger operation as of Labor Day and ridership has been a good bit better than expected although no where near " normal". We are guardedly optimistic that we will be able to continue running through the Santa season which is normally our busiest time of year.

Sadly, in order to comply with the myriad Covid regs. we can not offer cab rides as there is no way to accomplish the required distancing within the confines of 40's cab.

Therefore please accept this early wish to all for a blessed Christmas and a HEALTHY, rewarding, and steam rich 2021.

Thanks, Ross Rowland

Ross,

Thanks for the info; we are going to make an attempt to come to New Hope.

Your recommendation for the Lincoln Train was great! Thanks!
Good things are going to happen out there with the turntable etc.

Those Penberthy Injectors don't have a shut-off on the "Overflow" and I had a wet foot and pantleg; otherwise Klock did a great job.

Paul
