Western Maryland Scenic Railroad steam locomotive #734 will be running her last trips of the year this weekend. She will pull two Polar Express excursions on Friday December 6, departing 11:30 and 6:00 PM out of Cumberland. Saturday and Sunday she will be on the 11:30 AM trips. Sunday December 8 will be the last steam powered excursion on the WMSR for this year.

There is currently 8 inches of snow on the ground in Cumberland, with even more at Frostburg. Should make for a pretty weekend to see steam in the snow!
