Post subject:  Coronet Phosphate 2-6-2 #5

While researching Coronet Phosphate #6, I found this 1959 photo of #5. This locomotive (#5) is now at the Colfax Railroad Museum while #6 is being restored at McHugh Locomotive and updates are posted in another thread here in the interchange.

I do have a somewhat large file of this photo, if anyone would like it send me a PM.

Tom -

Wonderful historic photo. There is another surviving Coronet Phosphate 2-6-2 (number 9) at IRM in Union, Illinois. Plus, the Gramling's have another Coronet 0-4-2T, although I forget the number. Plus one other 0-4-2T also still exists I believe. Amazing for a rather unknown operation, that their steam power did so well in preservation!
