DHR # 19B NF 778 (Sharp-Stewart - 1889) has been sold, and was loaded yesterday, on it's way to a new home and restoration in Great Britain! The only DHR B tank to ever leave India, it was acquired in the early 1960's by the late Elliott Donnelley for his estate railroad in Lake Forest, Il. It also made two trips to the Hesston Steam Museum, in Indiana, and was the first steam restored after our disasterous 1985 train shed fire. After restoration, it's intended for a private railway, but is expected to make a few appearances on various 2ft railways in Great Britain. Nice article in the current DHRS magazine.
