Go to the link below to get an update on the West Coast project to preserve F40PH 231........... Long story short: They still need monies, but a loan has been made that will cover the acquisition cost plus MOST (but not all) of the moving costs. Your support is still needed. As the loco is being sold "as is, where is" at Beech Grove, the loco requires a thorough inspection prior to relocation to Portland, Ore. Anyone here qualified to help out in this manner?
