I went to Vancouver island in 1970 during the NRHS convention (did not attend it) to watch and photograph the Hillcrest #10. I went with a friends parents, and weren't sure where on the island we were most of the time. I'm not absolutely sure of the schedule of events during the convention, or if the train excursion with photo run-bys was the day after this photo, but this is definitely not in Victoria. It is somewhere west of the town of Lake Cowichan. Thanks for your reply at any rate. -Tim |

Your photo was taken at the Hillcrest mill. #10 was not moved to Victoria until August 1971. https://www.cvrd.ca/DocumentCenter/View ... sol?bidId= |
