HeritageRail Alliance is holding it March 23-25 Spring Conference online. You can attend for the low, low price of $65 ($50 if you're affiliated with an HRA museum, railroad or commercial member). That gets you access to all the seminars, the virtual vendor room and the opportunity to meet and chat with your railway preservation peers. Here's the link to the general info page. https://heritagerail.org/conferences/. From there you can register and download the program. In order to attend the symposium, you will need to enter the CrowdCompass conference portal through the CrowdCompass app, which will host the Zoom conference links, videos, program agenda and give you interactive access to attendees and vendors. There are 2 versions of the app you can use the join the conference: 1. PC/Mac version (Recommended), to access the conference using your computer's web browser; and 2. Mobile Device version, to access the conference on your phone or tablet PLEASE NOTE: Although you may download the app on multiple devices, you can only stream conference videos on one device at a time. How to Download and Use the PC/Mac version If you are on your PC/Mac, simply click on the "Verify Account" button below (scroll down) to open the link in your web browser. This button automatically includes your personalized verification code, which is linked to your conference registration e-mail. Only one person can use it at a time. You can also access the PC/Mac version by visiting the direct link https://event.crowdcompass.com/hra2021spring. This option may require you to log in with your name and e-mail, and then enter a validation code that will be sent to your e-mail within 60-90 seconds. Tips for using the PC/Mac Version 1. Save this e-mail to quickly access the website using the "Verify Account" button above. 2. Once logged in to the PC/Mac version, bookmark the site in your browser to ensure easy access during the conference. 3. You will remain logged in to the website as long as you don't close your web browser. If you close your browser, you will need to sign in again.
