April 1st has become amazingly lame online. I'm just fine with a lockdown on tomfollery as I can't remember the last time I saw something that was clever in any way for April Fool stuff... |

Perhaps those who want to contribute something for tomorrow do so on their own blog/forum/facebook page/etc. Then include a link to that item in THIS THREAD. On April 2, this thread can be moved to Railfaning and/or locked. Personally, I'm looking forward to finding out who CP is merging with tomorrow. |

Exactly. People generally aren't as funny as they think they are and almost all of it turns out to be a bunch of useless digital clutter. |

The last and best April Fools joke was the High Green newsletter story that Tom Thumb was headed cross-country on its own power to the (first?) Sacramento Railfair in 1981. Chessie System at the time had to print a denial. Wesley |

I had read where April Fool's Day has been cancelled this year because there's no way to be more off the wall than things really are. I can believe that. |
