These are the famous Marvin Robertson cars. He is a rail enthusiast who has made a nice display of this equipment on a property he owns in Kansas. It's been about 10 years since I've seen them but I seem to recall they are visible just south of a main Interstate, south and possibly east of Topeka. I think there may be a small station there too. It's not near any live track or former right of way. One car is obviously one of the ex-ATSF shorty superintendent cars. The middle fluted lightweight car is the ex-ATSF 1347, ex-Amtrak 3350 (PS 1947) built as a bar 51 seat lounge with nurses room and news stand. The smooth side baggage car is ex ATSF 3906, ex 75, (PS/Topeka Shops 1963) former Santa Fe business train service Superliner buffer car, an otherwise unmodified pristine PS/Topeka shops baggage car. When I saw it, the lounge retained it's 70's era Amtrak purple and orange decor and somewhat modified interior layout. It's in rough shape structurally (it has at least one car jack supporting the center sill at mid car) but it has the "all natural stainless with Santa Fe lettering" look on the exterior so it still looks good.
