Post subject:  Daily electric locomotive operation

Well at least this week at the IRM for track work. Without a diesel crew available, Commonwealth Edison No. 4 helping replace the East Wye switch.

If you look in the early issues of the Rail & Wire newsletters; they did a lot of switching with steeple cab electrics. Later of course when they started collecting Diesels this practice sort of went away. It is great to see it back; if even just for a day or so. And good track work also!
