It would appear they're selling their T43 locomotive, essentially a G12 - the export version of the SW1200.

If this is the wrong fourm, my apologies; mods can move it - but i feel the disposition of a 1960s-vintage engine would belong on the preservation subfourm, no? Could at least be an interesting depiction of EMD's exports.

T43 is a NOHAB locomotive with a 12-567D1

NOHAB (Nydqvist & Holm AB) was an EMD licensee in Sweden that produced diesel-electric locomotives with EMD components built to European clearances,

Indeed - the T43 is essentially a version of the G12W built to suit sweedish needs and usages.

Preservation interest in the US could be linked to demonstrating the variety of engines that EMD licensed out to Europe and other places?
