I have no affiliation with this, but there is a collection of original source documents and map cabinets on Facebook Marketplace for sale. The listing is titled "Industrial and Railroad Antiques" and includes hundreds of what appear to be original, well-kept documents, the only one open for identifying is a Denver and Rio Grande locomotive side elevation. The person posting is Chase Danielson of Houston TX and the collection is said to be in Mercer Island WA.

I haven't contacted this person and don't have the financial means to procure and transport them to Pennsylvania but wanted them to have an opportunity to be preserved as a research collection by the appropriate party if possible.

Please share with anyone you feel may be appropriate.

Thank you,

Susan Yosten
Erie, PA

Do you have a link? I looked around and the only thing I could find is this stuff, on several various Seattle-area facebook buy and sell boards: https://www.facebook.com/groups/6463771 ... 839595223/

I sent a note to Northwest Railway Museum to see if they have knowledge of or interest in this collection. (I have no connection to either the collection or NRM)

The second photo of the cabinet in the listing is exactly like the one in Durand Michigan used for selling copies of blueprints of famous hometown locomotives (GTW 4-6-2's and PM 2-8-4's) and other things. This from looks of it seems to be a MASSIVE find for Railroad info I would assume this came from a liquidation sale at some big station possibly out west or just a very passionate collector who passed away or is looking to sell.
