The East Troy Railroad Museum in East Troy, WI has announced that it is selling tickets to the First Revenue Run - under its own power -of CNS&M Car 761 since the North Shire closed down in 1963. The first run will happen at 10:00am on July 10, 2021.

The car has been meticulously restored and is a real beauty. People who remember riding the North Shore say its a bit spooky walking into the car because it looks just like it would have 58 years ago. Tickets for this one-time event are $100.

I would definitely pay for a ticket if I was closer to Wisconsin than SouthEast Pennsylvania.

the official dedication for 761 was Sunday June 27. A nice ceremony was held to recognize everyone who had a part in the restoration.
