Post subject:  Motorcar "Graveyard" in Indiana

I just drove through Mitchell, IN on IN37, and on the north side of town, there was a place that had at least 50 motorcar bodies in various states of deterioration. The property looked like no one was around.

Anyone know about this place or anyone associated with it?

Not seeing anything on Google maps. Which direction were you traveling? Which side of the road was it on?

By "motorcars" you mean track speeders, Fairmounts, etc.?

Travelling south, right (west) side of road, just south of Spice Valley Road.

According to a couple of posters at the Indiana Railroads Bull Session, this is a business of a guy who rehabs and refurbishes speeders.

His name is David Skaggs. I’ve helped him to acquire a few cars. He has bought out the Brown company outside St.Louis and a few other collections. He’s active on the motorcar group on facebook. He came up and rode my caboose back in the spring. He’s a heckuva good fella.
