2 PRR Wooden Boxcars to AoS Ohio

The AOS shop was busy this week with the acquisition of two ex-Pennsylvania RR X-23 boxcars built around 1913.
These cars had been used in railroad Maintenance of Way service as support or tool cars after their retirement from revenue service with the PRR.
Later they were privately purchased and used as storage.
This had saved the cars from the scrappers.
AOS was fortunate to have them saved again from another possible scrapping and moved to the roundhouse.
These cars will be eventually be evaluated, repaired and restored to their former PRR paint scheme.

By the way what happens with the Boxcars AoS purchased at ITM 2 years ago?? Someones has a update??

I don't think Pete is opposed to bringing in the cars they bought. They need to rationalize some items to make room. Some of the passenger cars they won't be able to operate anymore are going to have to leave at some point. And then there's the pending move of BLE 643...
