I've been to Clark's many times and have never seen the Evans AutoRailer. I suppose it is possible that it could be squirreled away in the Engine Shed.....but I doubt it. Every few years, they typically have a railroad festival up there, and they trot out everything that can move or be moved. I fully suspect that if the unit was intact, I would have seen it. I believe that Leon Noel retired a couple of years back. Great guy! You might try asking for Russ Page, who has been a key member of the Steam Team at Clark's for many years. Russ is extremely knowledgeable. If this unit still exists on the property, he would know. /Kevin Madore |
