Here are a couple of shots taken at IRM in Union, Illinois by Tim Fennell of railroad property markers: http://www.rrpicturearchives.net/showPi ... id=5607960 and http://www.rrpicturearchives.net/showPi ... id=5607947 The first shot shows the Nickel Plate Road (NYC&StL) concrete property marker post unpainted while the New York Central post has been painted white with the embossed letters highlighted in black. These are only two of Illinois Railway Museums collection of concrete property markers as they also have ones from the TP&W, LS&MS, CCC&StL, P&E and C&EI on display. We at the Hoosier Valley Railroad Museum are jealous of their fine display. Les |
