The only rail car on the T&T 99 was sold to Mexico after the line was shut down becoming Sonora Baja California 2501 I saw it in in Benjamin Hill Sonora in the 1970s it has since been moved does anyone know if it went to a museum or was scrapped? |

If I recall right, the last news was that the Benjamin Hill site had been cleaned up, but there was no word on the fate of anything there.... It would be an interesting project.... If I recall, there is happens to be a half of a Burlington car, similar to the 99, being used as a shed somewhere...maybe Kansas? I could see joining the two halves to make 99 whole again.... |
