Some folks in Laurel, Mississippi have decided to move their IC 0-6-0, No. 268 to another display location. Being new to this, they would appreciate seeing photos of similar size locomotives being moved by truck or on house-moving dollies. Links to photos on the internet would be appreciated and may be posted here.

Can't find a photo of 268, but here is one of sister 267, taken by Otto Perry

About a half-dozen photos of NN 2-8-0 being moved by truck in conjunction with the Winter Olympics last year. See link below to the specific page at my Web site.

Have them call Bernie Watts at Backshop Enterprises... He recently moved a big SP 0-6-0 from Ogden, UT to Farmington, NM by truck... Prior to that he moved the Forney Museum's rail equipment including the Big Boy UP-4005 (plus 14 other pieces).

He can be reached at his shop:303-424-6882, cell:303-478-0774.
