Look below the CP Rail (ex D&H, exx CR, exx EL, nee DL&W) East Binghamton yards and you'll see the dark hulk of the DL&W's steam facility in the woods.

You can also the new D&H turntable pit that was under construction at the time!

I wrote a letter to the owner of the DL&W facilities to see if I can obtain permission to look at them.

It is interesting that about the same time the CPR was building a new turnatble next to the old one in Conklin, they were tearing out the original D&H table across town at Bevier Street.

For anyone of the modeling persuasion, the Atlas roundhouse is said to be based on the D&H one at Bevier Street.
