Folks,
The latest car to arrive at the Illinois Railway Museum is the Silver Beaver baggage car (Budd,1948). Does anyone know of any other cars from that fleet to be preserved?

I recall seeing here a large list of the cars that were in the three or more Ringling Circus Trains. I hope some more will be preserved; at the Circus World Museum, at Baraboo, Wisconsin, if no where else.

A passenger car, stock car and flat car with 4 circus wagons were delivered to Baraboo, WI for the Circus World Museum in July of 2017.

The South Carolina Railroad Museum in Winnsboro, SC has four ex-Ringling Bros. cars in the collection - one horse car and three dormitories.

RBBX 60002 - Horse Car
RBBX 42007 - Ringmaster's Dormitory
RBBX 42021 - Dormitory for Five Performers
RBBX 40012 - Dormitory for Eleven Performers

The Horse Car is currently used for holiday decoration storage, while the dormitory cars will be evaluated for future service or display. The interiors are in splendid shape, with most of the decorations and signage left behind from the final days of the circus.
