All but the last locomotive in these builders photos are indeed at MRSR. Hammond #17 at MRSR was Crossett-Western #11, not #10. The #10 became Hammond #16 and now is at Chelatchie Prairie,, Washington. Martin |

Note that the left side builders photo of the Willamette shows her with the as-built Worthington FWP. That model was the smallest size offered and stayed with her through her time at Klickitat, WA and also a few years with Rayonier's Clallam County operation. They finally removed it after deciding that it was not worth the extra time and labor to maintain. That and their unfamiliarity with the device that has over 230 some parts. This particular locomotive was the final one of 33 constructed and was one of the few slightly larger 75-3 models having a half inch larger bore on the cylinders. |

@Martin sure I know this. But the #10 builder photo is the only one used by ALCO / Zimmerman- Wells-Brown advertising. They should be identical exept the 10/11 lettering even they are made by 2 different plants - Brooks #10 (last locomotive made by Brooks) and Schenectady #11. I do not know if a #11 builder photo exist, do you? For whom it may concern see the technical data below. PS The advertising say "Three" ALCO used by Crossett-Western. I know only that two. You have any idea about the third?

Still some things to work out and put in place obviously, but they're committed to making it happen. They've also been maintaining things at the railroad, so operations should resume fairly quickly on the Elbe to Mineral route. |

Great news! What is the status of the Willamette? Will it require any major work to return to service? When will the 1472 inspection be due? |

Man, those of us in the area needed some good news! I wonder if they're going to get started with this project this summer or intend on running then? I'd think you wouldn't expect trains running until next year (or Polar Express this year, at the earliest)? |

You have any idea about the third? This builder's photo of the #11 (Hammond #17) hangs in our shop break room at Mineral. I think one of our volunteers picked this up at a local train show years ago.
