I'm looking into having a batch of reproduction class light lenses made. These were used on GP7/9/18s, SD7/9/18s, F7/9 A units, E8/9 A units, some EMD switchers.

These would probably be made using a steel mold and clear glass (not plastic). This is in the early stages of inquiry, and I'd like to gage the interest, and quantity to make. As always, more pieces results in lower cost per piece.

If interested, please post a response here or PM me, with quantities you want.

Thanks,

Howard P.

Mosser Glass in Cambridge Oh They make many types of glass lenses. Getting a mold made may be the costliest part. Not sure if Island Mold and Machine in Wheeling WV is still around. Good luck to you

A quick update: The total count of "we'll take XXXX of these" is over 100 pieces so far.
That's a respectable quantity, and hopefully will yield a reasonable price per finished lens.
Stay tuned....
