Ted-
From what I read the K-4's were all well liked by the crews that ran them. They were called "Big Mikes"
Are you looking for a particular place that a certain K-4 ran? I may have a couple numbers that my great grandfather was on in coal / freight service on the Big Sandy
I'd also suggest contacting Bill Sparkmon. He's a good authority on K-4's and Handley WV
Good luck!
Matt Crouch
milepost465@cs.com |
