Post subject:  Bulgaria: Steam-powered Narrow Gauge Excursions Planned

Beginning June 1, 2022, Bulgarian State Railways (BDŽ) is offering several trips on a steam-powered train on the country’s narrow-gauge line linking Septemvri and Velingrad. Among the serviceable locomotives is the following:

• BDŽ 609 76, 2-10-2T (Chrzanov 1929 / 1949), 760mm gauge

The 1965/66 built Henschel diesels which work most of the services on that line are worth seeing as well.....
