The builders plate shown below is not, so far as I understand, from a locomotive currently in steamlocomotive.info's database. Does anyone, perhaps, know what locomotive this actually came off of?

Wow Did they even care about the quality of the builders plates?? I mean, I thought ours was rough, but that one, I think, is actually worse. Our edges are a lot cleaner, but the lettering is bad. I cleaned it up and painted it, but some of it just couldn't be fixed. This plate is from Hydro Electric Power Commission #46, built August 1920, and delivered as "stock" to the HEPC at Queenston Ontario for use in the construction of the power canals for the Queenston-Chippawa Project. The other plate (from the other side of the locomotive) is unrestored, and just as rough.
