South yard or north yard? Might be going down the Port Road towards Lancaster?

On the RHS of I-81 Bridge Northbound.

I'll never get used to the fact that the Susquehanna River runs E-W at this point and the North Side is East Shore and South Side is West Shore.

EV = Extended Vision (cupola).

Could only see a "slice" with the cupola between cars and trees. It was a deep rust-red color, but I couldn't see any reporting marks or road name.

NOT at Enola/Harrisburg. In fact, the northern half of Enola "Yard" runs slightly northeast-to-southwest.

The east-west section of the river starts at Dauphin/the hard turn north of Marysville, and on the PRR Main runs through Perdix and Cove before turning north and even hard northeast again south of/at Duncannon/Clarks Ferry.

It's easier to "get used to the fact" if you've ever driven pointed directly into the bright sun in either the morning or evening for that four or so miles........

Considering a friend of mine lives all of three miles north in Dauphin, I certainly understand that issue... Last time I went through there early morning was interesting to say the least.
