Does anyone know the heritage of the North Carolina Innovation Express passenger car on display at the American Tobacco Campus in Durham, NC? It is numbered 127 above the platform door. Literally nothing on this car online. |

According to this photo, the car sits adjacent to a large water feature: http://www.d3-development.com/americantobacco/ This site has additional background information on the context of the project. This might have a negative impact on the future of the car. In this thread is an account of a PRR cabin that was used as a pool house on the David Bevan - leading to extensive rot that made it infeasable to preserve the car. viewtopic.php?f=1&t=40490&start=15 |
