Rockhill Furnace, PA - The EBT Foundation, the owner and operator of the historic East Broad Top Railroad, is excited to announce that the organization’s Mechanical Department are expanding their capacity for contracted mechanical services, currently specializing in heritage air brake valves. At this time, the Foundation is able to rebuild P, K, and L Triple Valves, AB Valves, UC Valves, 6ET Steam Locomotive Brake Equipment, and vintage Single Passenger Car Test Devices. All valves and devices will be tested to the most recent historical standard. “In 2022, we had the opportunity to save a group of historic test racks,” says EBT Master Mechanic Dave Domitrovich. “We hope to put them to good use not just with our own fleet, but also further our mission to preserve railroad history by assisting other heritage railroads with their maintenance programs.” Mechanical Services Inquiries and Quotes Contact Dave Domitrovich - Master Mechanic ddomitrovich@eastbroadtop.com |
