SP had a series of Harriman cars which were converted to All-Day lunch cars. I know that one side of those cars had a partially blanked out window on one end, but I have never seen the opposite side of the car. Does anybody know or have a picture they could post or a description of the "back side" showing the opposite side of an All-Day lunch car? I'd like to convert one of my Harrimans to such a car and would like to be true to form. Thanks, Ned |

The Niles Canyon RY has SP #1975 (originally a Class 60-C-5 72 seat coach, built by Pullman in 1914 in series #1956-#1978). There are several photos of the #1975 online: http://rrpicturearchives.net/showPicture.aspx?id=4490137 http://rrpicturearchives.net/showPicture.aspx?id=5244714 http://rrpicturearchives.net/showPicture.aspx?id=5244710 https://flickr.com/photos/schaffner/434540400 http://rrpicturearchives.net/showPicture.aspx?id=497902 Info page on the #1975 on the NCRY website: https://www.ncry.org/about/collection/passenger/southern-pacific-1975/ Hope this helps. |

Ted- Thanks for the info. I guess the back side of the ADL cars were simply left along? That simplifies things. Thanks again. Ned |
